LEED Consulting Services
The LEED certification / documentation process is a collaborative effort involving 6 steps to a successful project.
Step 1- IDENTIFY PROJECT SPECIFIC CREDIT
The project specific credits for the each project have to be identified and further defined in the LEED checklist for the project.
Step 2 – COMMUNICATE REQUIREMENTS
In working with the General and sub-contractor, the specific documentation requirements for LEED credit compliance will be included in scoping documentation for the project.
Step 3 – REVIEW SUBMITTALS
TBD+ reviews each sub-contractor’s submittals for LEED compliance before approving and passing them on to the design professional of record for review.
Step 4 – DOCUMENT CREDITS
TBD+ uploads the submittal information to LEED online once those submittals have been approved by the design professional of record for the project.
Step 5 – PUBLISH ‘MISSING DOCUMENTATION’ LIST
TBD+ publishes a periodic ‘missing documentation’ list outlining documentation still missing from the project by specific LEED point. The list will also identify the specific project team member responsible for providing the required documentation.
Step 6 – COMMUNICATE COMPLETION
TBD+ will email the Client once the documentation portion of each team member’s involvement on that particular credit has been completed and / or ‘finalized’ within the LEED online web portal.
