TOM KARGL

Vice President

Tom Kargl, AIA, NCARB, graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky, and started his career at Tucker & Booker (now DKN) in 1985. He rose through the company to become partner in 2002. Throughout his career with DKN, Tom has been instrumental in the completion of projects of all scales, ranging from small tenant fit-up work to large office and industrial structures. 

As DKN’s Construction Partner, Tom’s experience has been gained through first-hand knowledge of construction methodologies, detailing, and real-world practical experience.  Whether it is a small or large facility, Kargl manages each project with meticulous scrutiny. Filling the role as the go-to Principal for working through the nuances of Construction Documentation and Construction Administration, his expertise positions him as an invaluable resource during each phase of a project.

When not scrutinizing drawings, Tom enjoys making and repairing things for organizations such as Repair Affair and Habitat for Humanity. He also spends time golfing and doing yard work.
